Tour Itinerary

Whether you travel from Schiphol, Amsterdam Central Station or somewhere else in The Netherlands, we will get you sorted! The trip itinerary here below departs from Amsterdam Central station. Journey schedules are pretty flexible as trains depart at least twice per hour. So don’t worry if you run a bit late or are an early bird, we’ll get you en route!
Day 1 – Leaving Amsterdam CS in the morning, you’ll travel straight to Delft — a city where the atmosphere of the 17th‑century Dutch masters is still tangible in its canals, courtyards and studio streets. After check‑in and lunch, a guided walk introduces you to Delft’s most evocative places: the lanes around the Oude Kerk, the serene canals Vermeer painted, and the historic squares shaped by merchants and craftsmen. You’ll stay in a boutique hotel in the historic center, perfectly placed to explore the city at your own pace. We’ll share our favorite lunch and dinner spots, or help you secure a table for a relaxed first evening in Delft.
Day 2 – Leaving Delft late in the morning, you’ll head to Leiden — the city where Rembrandt was born, trained and first shaped his artistic voice. After check‑in and lunch, you explore the historic center at an easy pace: the studio streets where he learned his craft, the quiet canals and hofjes that defined Leiden’s character, and the university quarter that fueled the city’s creative energy. A visit to Museum De Lakenhal brings Rembrandt’s early years and Leiden’s artistic story into focus, while the surrounding streets offer a calm, intimate look at the world that shaped him. You’ll stay in a boutique hotel in the historic center, perfectly placed for an evening stroll and a relaxed dinner.
Day 3 – Leaving Leiden in the morning, you’ll head to Haarlem — the city that shaped Frans Hals and many of his contemporaries. Its intimate streets, canals and market squares still echo the world of guilds, studios and craftsmen. After check‑in and lunch, you explore Haarlem from the water. A slow boat ride along the Spaarne and through the historic canals gives you a close look at the façades, warehouses and studio quarters that defined the city’s artistic life. You drift past the streets surrounding the Frans Hals Museum and the neighborhoods where painters once lived and worked.
Day 4 – After breakfast, you’ll leave your luggage safely at the hotel and enjoy a final, unhurried morning in Haarlem. Take your time to wander the historic center, explore the Frans Hals museum, or simply enjoy the calm rhythm of the city as it wakes up. It’s a soft, fitting close to your Dutch‑Masters journey. Later in the day, you’ll collect your luggage and continue your travels — whether that’s back to Amsterdam, Schiphol, or onward to your next destination. These days in Delft, Leiden and Haarlem offer an intimate look at the world behind the Dutch masters, and we hope you leave with stories worth carrying home.
